With the help of a certified teacher, A to Z leveled readers and our own phonetic & phonemic awareness files, our teachers are able to provide a one-on-one instruction tailored to your child’s needs. Lessons focus on letter-sound relationships, word recognition skills and reading comprehension strategies with plenty of opportunities for your child to apply and practice these skills. Connecting through our virtual classroom called Blackboard Collaborate, teachers upload the appropriate leveled reader and combined with voice and whiteboard, they encorporate pre-reading,reading and post-reading strategies into each 30 minute lesson. The integration of phonemic awareness lessons are always taught in context.
